A personalized design...

VeraCruz Café is located on the restaurant floor of the Parque Nascente shopping center in Gondomar.
It is characterized by its coffee sales service, with the most diverse varieties, which takes us to a vast field of references.
As coffee is one of the group's main business areas, a project for the restaurant pays special attention to the display and promotion of the product, dignifying it with new images and textures.

As a general concept to be implemented in various pre-existing contexts, the project's versatility is imperative, adapting to any circumstance. Impactful and in keeping with the brand's existing colors, we suggest a new range of finishes.

As a flooring, we suggest compact vinyl, both for its durability and the aesthetic standard required.

To make the front elevation stand out more, exposed brick was used. When combined with the lighting, it takes on special prominence, contributing to the creation of an enveloping atmosphere.

Functionality

At a functional level, we can identify three distinct moments:

1. High tables for consumers who spend little time in the circulation area.
2. An area of low tables, for more permanent consumers, where comfort is a differentiating factor, enhancing conviviality with a greater degree of intimacy.
3. Service counter, using natural materials such as wood and marble.

Lighting is also the target of intervention in this process. Proposing a new lighting, punctuated and intimate, it becomes an adjunct in creating the atmosphere.
Using warm tones, the lighting is concealed between the wooden beams, creating new rhythms and dynamics.

Accompanied by a corporate image rebranding, a restoration project takes on special contours, combining architecture, functionality, aesthetics and design.
As such, the project seeks an intimate atmosphere, where the lighting takes center stage as the characterizing element of this new space.
