Dental Clinic Project - Lisbon

The concept...

Conceived to be the group's anchor clinic in Lisbon, the challenge was to create a project for a dental clinic with the main objective of communicating a new image for the group.
As a result, the architect suggests a gestural, enveloping form in which people intentionally circulate through the space.
To do this, dialogues are created between different ceilings and floors, demarcating the living and service areas.
As such, all the materials were rethought in order to communicate the new, avant-garde image, while also complying with all the assumptions indicated by the ARS entity.

Lighting is particularly important in this space because it is light that defines the subject, creating differentiating moments.
As this is a project for a dental clinic, this is an important study agent in the whole project.
The clinical area is minimalist and welcoming, using light, warm tones.
A sculpture is proposed in the reception area, which at the same time illuminates, energizes and enlivens the space.
In offices, the choice is for warm white tones with diffused lighting, appealing to the soft box concept so that the light is homogeneous throughout the workspace.

As a consequence, and for a greater contrast between the floor and walls, the wood element is proposed to warm up this space and give it an atmosphere.
Ceiling and balcony beams are made from this material.

Not only architecture but also furniture was the target of the project.
As far as furniture design is concerned, the architect's intention is to design the entire technical component (consulting rooms) as well as circulation and waiting areas.
Tables and chairs are carefully chosen.

In short, nothing is left to chance.
Everything is designed down to the smallest detail so that the user feels comfortable and at ease.

Each project is properly monitored and licensed by the health regulator (ERS).
