Once the challenge was launched to reinvent the traditional concept of a dental clinic project in Porto, Boavista, the intention was to communicate a new atmosphere. To do this, the architect used a new, minimalist language, introducing new textures and colors.

The counter, which embraces the entire front of the clinic, is made of marble and wood as a metaphor for the dialog between artifice and nature. In this way, it adds lightness and sophistication to a space with great specificities such as . Functionality and aesthetics are two inseparable factors in a dental clinic project, and they are thought out and articulated accordingly.

As a result, adjacent to the reception, there is a waiting area with an engaging atmosphere and in perfect dialogue with the communication to the respective offices.

The main factor in this process is the lighting, which is negative on the ceiling. In this way, an intimate and enveloping atmosphere is established where the lighting takes on a characterizing element of the space. The light defines the space, highlighting the volume of the material.
