A challenge...

A partner invited me to take part in a project for a restaurant and bar in the center of Porto.
As a result, we rethought the concept of the existing restaurant and bar, giving it a new, cosmopolitan and urban atmosphere.

A space with personality...

The intention of the project is to establish an intimate atmosphere in which the lighting takes center stage, being one of the characterizing elements of this new space.
It will be the ideal place to socialize with friends after a meal in an informal atmosphere surrounded by a strong presence and personality.
The same personality is acquired through the materials used: rustic wooden beams, metal and burro brick, combined in an authentic and harmonious way.
Consequently, the lighting follows the same trend, using warm, enveloping tones. The lighting is a characterizing element of the space.

A Restaurant, a Brewery, a Bar...

With the aim of merging restaurant and bar space, an intellectualized demarcation of spaces is assumed. Through flooring with different materials, we achieved perfectly delimited zones.
The brewery has two distinct areas. A dining area (low tables) and a bar area with high tables and a bar.

Likewise, chairs, benches and tables are carefully chosen. Communication is carried out in an integrated and participatory way in each piece of decoration and furniture.
With a strong presence in the drinks trade, the beer tanks are customized, as is the wine cellar cabinet.
The aim of the project was to preserve existing tile engravings, dignifying them in contrast to the burro brick.

In short, the project for the restaurant is characterized by the combination of rustic materials with a high level of contemporaneity, thus appealing to a wider public and different age groups.
