In the field of dental health and physiatric care, the project to set up a clinic in Boavista was conceived.
The project focuses not only on the functionality inherent in the practice, but also on articulating the respective corporate image with the interior decoration of the entire space.
Light is the guiding light, the cicerone of the space, accompanying the user to each room.
Architecture is made up of moments. It is these moments that make architecture memorable and engaging.
Color and light play an important role. Using light colors and indirect lighting creates an intimate atmosphere, transmitting tranquility and serenity to the user.
A PROJECT FOR A CLINIC...
Being an area of great specificity, functionality is imperative. In all the work we do, we try to divide the public and private spheres, separating them through physical or intellectualized filters.
As such, the access floor is given a distinctive reading. Lighting together with privacy filters advertise the space dedicated to breastfeeding newborns on the far side.
This floor houses the common areas, waiting and reception.
Since postpartum care is of particular importance in this activity, the entire space is distributed in such a way as to guarantee high levels of privacy and intimacy.
On the lower floor, due to the lack of natural light, a vertical garden is designed. This moment breaks with the notion of a closed corridor, creating a pause in the score and thus articulating with the rest of the spaces.
A multipurpose room, which is the focus of the project, is divided up using concealed, movable panels that divide up the space according to needs.
Marmoleum was chosen as the flooring. As it comes from natural raw materials, it is sustainable, durable, aesthetically pleasing and meets the level of asepsis required by health regulators.
